Invisible UV
Invisible text or images are printed on the hologram, invisible to the naked eye but revealing a glowing appearance under UV light.
The fluorescent ink color options include red, yellow, green, blue or orange.
In addition to revealing invisible text or images under UV light, marking agents or taggants can be developed to react specifically with personalized devices, responding to distinct wavelengths of ultraviolet light.
Typically, text or images printed with invisible ink on the label surface are fixed and constant. To enhance anti-counterfeiting measures, variable QR codes or serial numbers designed for specific wavelengths can be printed using invisible ink.
Invisible UV elements can be designed in repeated typesetting or as a single pattern, tailored to the specific requirements of customers.
The primary limitation of fluorescent ink is its inability to penetrate most materials, particularly plastics. In outdoor usage, prolonged exposure to direct sunlight can cause the fluorescent ink to fade over time, or it may be washed off by water.
This technology finds applications in diverse industries, including banknotes, event tickets, passports, and documents that necessitate direct authentication.
